I believe most Americans are in the middle of the political spectrum. They have no use for the values of the conservative(religious)right. We are in a changing demographic scene. The blacks and Latino's are not going to vote for the reactionary views of the far right. The same is true of the youth as we saw in the last election. The party has white 45 to 60 age group as their major supporters. They will go the way of the Whigs. We have not seen anything yet with the demographic shift, as will happen, That change will take place when McCain reintroduces the McCain-Kennedy Comprehensive Immigration Bill(Amnesty). It will give 13 to 30 millions illegals amnesty and the right to vote. They will over overwhelmingly vote Democratic, the same radical Latino groups that put 500,000 in the march in L.A. They will be working to register them Democratic. Once that bill goes through, it will be hard for a Republican to get elected anywhere. Maybe this will be a blessing for the country, not the giving amnesty to millions, but the end of a group of Limbaugh and Hannity led sheep.
