At this time in American Society, the Republican Party has become ineffective and obsolete. They have refused to change what they consider time honored values that mostly concern social issues. Recently, a conservative group called Our Country Deserves Better began running a commercial thanking Gov Sarah Palin for all she's done for Americans. This puzzles me as they didn't thank her for anything she actually did, like stir up the paranoid anger of the bigots on the fringe right.
